"Turkish Airlines" will fly on the Ohrid-Istanbul route from March 27
Turkish Airlines scheduled and launched flights between Istanbul and Ohrid for the 2025 summer season, after previously applying for subsidies from the state. published "Exue Aviation" portal.
The flights will start on March 27 and will operate four times a week – on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The airline connecting Ohrid and Istanbul is one of the six new destinations announced after the last call for subsidies from the Government. From the Ohrid airport there will be a flight to Mulhouse, on the tri-border between France, Germany and Switzerland, and from the Skopje airport to Barcelona, Dubai, Lyon and Stuttgart.
According to the criteria, the financial support is in the amount of 9 euros per incoming passenger for passengers transported to "Skopje International Airport" and 12 euros per incoming passenger for passengers transported to the airport "St. Apostle Paul" – Ohrid.
