The General Coordination Headquarters today accepted the recommendations of the Commission for Infectious Diseases for easing the measures and proposed the Government to adopt them at today's session. Their adoption, on the other hand, would mean that from Wednesday the restriction of movement will be lifted, that all events that are organized outdoors can be attended by 1.000 people, using the space up to 50 percent, and that the limit of 100 people present on weddings.

The Tourism and Catering sector says that after the easing of the measures, they will face new challenges, such as providing qualified and quality staff, but also sufficient liquid assets to be able to restore the old dynamics of work as before the crisis.

- For the second year in a row, the catering facilities are working with restrictions and reduced capacities, and some of them, ie those that do not have summer terraces, are still closed. Some caterers were also forced to lay off employees, so they went to other sectors, or abroad. We expect the problem with providing liquid assets for work to be overcome with the easing of restrictive measures and when it will be possible to organize business activities without restrictions. Also, when it comes to loosening the measures, consideration should be given to allowing closed catering facilities to operate - stated by the Chamber of Tourism and Catering (TUK) for "Free Press".

Hence, they say that the tourism sector, in addition to suffering from illiquidity and lack of qualified staff, still suffers from uncertainty in this sector.

- There is still great uncertainty about what the situation will be in the coming period and whether there will be no new restrictions. Regarding the provision of funds for the realization of arrangements to reduce the chances of eventual loss, not all facilities are rented for the season as before, but it is done by order - say from HERE.
