With its resources, Turkey can play an active role in investing, implementing some of the projects and rebuilding Afghanistan, Acting Foreign Minister Amir Han Mutaki said in an interview with the Turkish news agency Anatolia.

He added that the official recognition of his government and international assistance are of great importance for the recovery of the Afghan economy.

Mutaki led a Taliban delegation on an official visit to Turkey on October 14. He had a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşo .lu to discuss the official recognition of the Taliban.

- As we said in our meetings in recent days with the US and European Union delegations in Doha and in our meetings in Turkey, the countries in the world were created by force, coup or elections, dominated by one person or family. "Why such countries are recognized and the government in Afghanistan continues to be just a fictitious state," Mutaki said.

He added that it was an usurpation of Afghans and that such a situation had a negative impact on the Afghan economy.
Mutaki stressed that the Taliban government guarantees security in Afghanistan in the face of the threat posed by terrorist groups.

- The fact that the new state in Afghanistan is not officially recognized is good for Islamic State. Countries around the world, on the one hand, say they control Afghans to prevent them from emigrating. On the other hand, they do not officially recognize the government and give strength to the IS. "It is not in the interest of Afghanistan or the world. pointed out Mutaki.
