The most famous sexy mermaid in the golden age of Hollywood, Sophia Loren started her career in 1950, when she was only 16 years old.

She spent her childhood with her mother struggling to make ends meet. During World War II, Sofia, along with her mother and grandmother, opened it bar in which they served American soldiers with homemade cherry liqueur, and many evil tongues spoke that in addition to alcohol, she sold her body.

Following the signing of a contract to make five Paramount films, her international career was launched. Although the audience adored her, it was attributed to her sexuality and the seductive look which characterized her gorgeous curves, not on acting talent.

After successful roles and Oscar nominations, Sofia became the first star to launch own line of perfumes. The perfume that bore her name, "Sofia" became an international hit, and later the actress launched a line of sunglasses.

Today, Sophia Loren is considered one of the 25 biggest stars in Hollywood.

In 1982 there was a big one scandal because it became known that the actress ended up on 18 days in prison. In Italy, Sofia allegedly avoided paying taxes regularly and did not declare her income and property. However, she was eventually acquitted for lack of evidence, although all charges were eventually dropped even in 2013.

The legendary role of Alexis Carrington of Dynasty was originally offered to the Italian diva, but she turned it down because she wanted to dedicate herself to her sons.

They continued to live together, and when Ponti finally divorced, he remarried the lovely Italian.

Public interest in her nude photos was big, and in 1999 Sofia filed a lawsuit against 79 pages of adult movies for publishing her photos! The Italian diva continues to fascinate the public to this day.
