Alarm of an air attack on Kyiv
Ukrainian authorities issued airstrike warnings for the entire country, while the president's chief of staff warned of a possible missile attack on the capital.
"Putin is currently preparing a missile attack on Kiev," Andriy Yermak posted on Techegram.
The Air Force of Ukraine previously warned that a missile had entered the country's airspace and was heading towards the capital.
The attack comes after a week of relentless attacks, including one on the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which killed a 32-year-old mother and her three children.
Over the weekend, Moscow and Kiev carried out a record number of overnight drone strikes.
Zelensky warned that Russia had prepared a force of about 50.000 troops, including North Korean fighters, to expel Ukrainian forces from Russia's Kursk region.
