On August 7, the third edition of the film festival "Across the Lake" in Dojran began with a screening of the feature film "Stella" and animated films for children dubbed in the Macedonian language. The youngest audience enjoyed themselves on the first night, and had the opportunity to meet Stojan Vujicic, the director of "Stella", and to ask everything they were interested in about the first Macedonian eco-film.

Earlier, a film literacy workshop was held at the Museum of the City of Dojran with the director of the "Across the Lake" festival, Jani Bojadzi, the director of "Stella", Stojan Vujicic and the president of the Council of the festival, Mimi Gjorgovska Ilievska.

The official opening of the festival will be held on August 9 with the awarding of the "Meto Jovanovski" award to the actor Vlado Jovanovski, as well as with a screening of the film "Russian Consul", the last film in which the Macedonian actor Meto Jovanovski played.

With screenings of five feature-length films, of which four feature films and one documentary, until August 11 the festival will offer a program for everyone's taste, outdoors, on the shores of the Dojran Lake.

On August 8, in the Amphitheater of the City of Dojran, an evening will be held in honor of the laureate Vlado Jovanovski with a video tribute with films in which he participates, as well as with a screening of the short film "Father" directed by Svetozar Ristovski.

On August 9, in the morning, the pitching of students for the competition for financial support of graduate films will be held in the Museum of the City of Dojran, while in the evening at 20 pm, the official opening of the festival will be held with the awarding of the "Meto Jovanovski" award to the actor Vlado Jovanovski .

Then the competition program "Against the Waves" will follow, within the framework of which the films "Paranoid" by Andrej Georgiev (Macedonia, 2024, 9 min.), "Russian Consul" by Miroslav Lekić from Serbia and "Even though it's night" will be shown. " by Guillermo García López from France.

The film program will continue on August 10 and 11 with a screening of the films "Are You a Man" by Gjorce Stavreski (Macedonia, 2023), "Silver Rebellion" by Dan Shadur (Israel), "The Wolf and the Cat" by Jean-Sebastien Bernard (France) ), "Silence 6-9" by Christos Pasalis (Greece), "The Man Who Couldn't Be Silent" by Nebojsa Slijepčević (Croatia, 2024), "Ballad" by Christopher Nilsson (France, 2023, 13 min.), "Star " by Aleksandra Lazarovski (Serbia, 2024), "Hotel Pula" by Andrej Korovljev (Croatia), "Podrum" by Omer Ferhat Ozmen (Turkey, 2024), "Bad at the moment" by Daniel Soares (Portugal) and "Infected" by Sebastien Vanicek (France).
