The head of the Union of Trade Unions, Slobodan Trendafilov, is optimistic about the increase in the minimum wage.

Tonight, in a guest appearance on TV21, he said that it is necessary to raise salaries in the state as soon as possible.

"If you ask the employers, today we would still work for them for ten thousand denars, but in the equation, not only the employers are asked, the workers are asked - those who create the capital for the employers. Well-paid workers are also productive workers. It is necessary to raise wages as soon as possible. SSM is consistent in its demands - we asked for a minimum salary of 450 euros on May 1," said Trendafilov, among other things.
