Trump has already scheduled a campaign debate with Kamala Harris on Fox News for tomorrow
The former president of the United States, Donald Trump, the candidate for the presidency of the Republican Party, has agreed with the TV station "Fox News" for a pre-election televised debate in its studio with the current vice president of the country, Kamala Harris, his rival for the office from the Democratic Party.
Trump announced this on his platform "Truth Social".
"If for some reason Kamala is unwilling or unable to debate on this date, I have made arrangements with Fox News to hold a large town hall event on that same September Fourth," Trump wrote in the post. Fox News is headquartered in New York.
Last night Harris secured the Democratic nomination, receiving the required number of votes from delegates to the national party congress in online voting before the forum.
Trump has already participated in pre-election televised debates – with US President Joe Biden on June 27 at the CNN studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Biden's poor performance at the time was the main reason he withdrew his candidacy.
