Trump spoke with Musk on "X", the interview was watched by more than 1,3 million
The Republican candidate for the presidential elections in the United States of America, Donald Trump, spoke with the billionaire Elon Musk on the "X" platform, and the interview, as noted at the beginning, was watched by more than 1,3 million people.
The "X" interview was delayed by more than 40 minutes, and according to Musk there were "massive cyber attacks", but the reason for the failure was not entirely clear, the Guardian writes.
Trump began the conversation by recounting the failed assassination attempt on him on July 13 at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, which he said he would visit again in October. He then spoke about his anti-immigration views, warning against "rogue" people trying to enter the country via the US-Mexico border. Of Kamala Harris, he said she "destroyed" California when she served as attorney general there and later as its senator. Regarding the war in Ukraine, Trump emphasized that he could have stopped it.
As The Guardian estimated, Musk suggested he could help a future Trump administration as a member of a "government efficiency commission."
Harris' campaign condemned the interview, calling it an example of Trump's "extremism and dangerous Project 2025 agenda."
- Trump's entire campaign is in the service of people like Elon Musk and himself, that is, rich people who are in love with themselves and who will sell out the middle class - said the spokesman of the Harris campaign, Joseph Costello.
