Trump will "prosecute" those who cheated in the 2020 election
Former US President Donald Trump has threatened to target those who "cheated" in the 2020 presidential election if he wins the race for the White House in November's election. Trump, who lost to Joe Biden in 2020, claims the vote was rigged against him as well.
"The 2024 election will be under the tightest professional scrutiny and when I win, those people who cheat will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, including long prison terms, to prevent this miscarriage of justice from happening again," wrote former President Trump. on the Truth Social platform.
“Please note that this legal exposure extends to lawyers, political operatives, donors, illegal voters and corrupt election officials. "Those who are involved in reckless behavior will be sought out, caught and prosecuted, unfortunately, at levels never seen in our country," he stressed.
Vice President Kamala Harris and Trump will take the stage next week in the only scheduled debate between the Democratic and Republican presidential candidates. The two are locked in a tight race, especially in key states needed to win the election.
