Trajanov: There is nothing to talk about with Bulgaria, no one can erase that it was an occupier
The President of the Democratic Union and Member of Parliament, Pavle Trajanov, in tonight's guest appearance on "Kanal 5" television said that no concessions should be made in the negotiations with Bulgaria, because, according to him, the historical facts can not be revised.
"The Democratic Union has completely crystal clear views on relations with Bulgaria. "We are for a platform, we have red lines and we should not make any concessions against Bulgaria," said Trajanov, commenting on the decision to change the term "Bulgarian fascist occupier" in history textbooks, but also by monuments in Macedonia.
Trajanov emphasizes that there is nothing to discuss such issues.
"Historical facts cannot be revised by a political decision. Bulgaria was the occupier of this territory at that time and wanted to present itself as a liberator. "No one can erase it from memory and written facts." he said.
