A tragic lyrical confession by Zoran Pejkovski has been published in Croatian
Recently, the Croatian Cultural Center "Marko Marulic" published a collection of poems "Dah smrti" by the Macedonian playwright, playwright, screenwriter, prose writer, publicist, theatrologist and poet Zoran Pejkovski. The translation of the songs into Croatian is by the writer and poet Snezana Aleksic - Stanojlovic.
The collection was published for the first time in 2018, in the publishing house "Phoenix" from Skopje, and in 2019 an audio book was made.
For this poetic manuscript, back in 2018, prof. Dr. Vasil Tocinovski wrote: "It is a tragic lyrical confession written in moments when it was time to part with the once and briefly given life while the breath of death its cold lips, like open wounds for which there is no balm, multiply on the body. There is nothing left of man, time and space. There is only the word not as consolation, but as faith with him and in the responsibility before him as a letter to leave bequests, messages and lessons to generations and future times. Hence, the epic as a pivotal thought and meaning from Pejkovski's creative laboratory is a kind of fresco of the subject or more precisely of the main hero, the poet, whose life destiny forms the basis of the plot.
(The text was published in "Cultural Press" No. 107, in the print edition of the newspaper "Free Press" on November 27-28, 2021)
