No-bake cake: A recipe for a divine chocolate and pistachio dessert
You don't need to turn on the oven to make a delicious dessert. This chocolate and pistachio cake is the best proof of that. Not only is it no-bake, it also contains no flour, gluten or animal ingredients.
You don't need any special skills to make this no-bake chocolate pistachio cake. The hardest part of the preparation is waiting for the fillings to set and the cake to be ready to cut and eat.
Ingredients for the base:
120 g of ground pistachios
120 g of almond flour
60 g of cocoa powder
50 g of maple syrup
finger salt
Ingredients for the filling:
300 ml coconut cream for whipped cream from a can
300 g of dark chocolate
250 g of pistachio butter
finger salt
pistachios to decorate the cake
Preparation:
Cover the cake pan with baking paper.
Mix ground pistachios, almond flour, cocoa powder, salt and maple syrup in a bowl. Press the resulting mixture evenly into the cake mold.
Spread the base with pistachio butter. Place the mold in the refrigerator for an hour or two to set the deposit.
Heat the coconut cream from the can in the microwave – in 30 second intervals until heated through.
Pour the heated coconut cream over the finely chopped dark chocolate and let it stand for a minute or two. Then start mixing. Stir until the chocolate melts and you get a smooth cream. Add a little salt.
Pour the ganache over the base and the pistachio butter. Put everything back together in the fridge for about four hours.
When the cake is pressed, garnish with chopped pistachios and serve.
