Kobe Bryant's 61-point ball sold at auction for over $66.000
The ball with which the legendary American basketball player Kobe Bryant scored 61 points against New York in 2009 sold at auction for $66.152.
The game was played on February 2, 2009 in New York's Madison Square Garden, and Bryant led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 126-117 victory.
With 61 points, Bryant broke the record he achieved at the same place Michael Jordan (55 points), and in 2014 Carmelo Anthony managed to score one basket more than Bryant.
Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash in January 2020 at the age of 41.
