The ball is in Ukraine's court, Russia wants to resume peace talks

Russia is ready to resume talks with Ukraine, frozen at the initiative of Kyiv, said today the chief Russian negotiator Vladimir Medinsky.

- For our part, we are ready to continue the dialogue. "I would like to emphasize that the ball is in Ukraine's court when it comes to further peace talks," he told Belarusian television station ONT.

Medinsky reiterated that the talks were "completely" frozen at the initiative of Ukraine.
