Spanish coach Toni Nadal stated that the 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz has the best chance to replace the "big three" that make up them Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, the Spanish media reports.

Five days ago, Alcaraz won a Grand Slam title for the first time in his career. after winning the US Open on Sunday.

The young Spanish tennis player is officially number one on Monday ATP list.

- In two weeks, Carlos achieved something that many great tennis players dream of during their careers. The maturity with which he was able to accomplish this is hard to beat. I was told about him when he was 12, 13 years old. I saw him for the first time when he was 14, 15 years old. Then it impressed me. Alcaraz showed that he is the tennis player who has the most chances to replace the "big three", said Toni Nadal.

Toni Nadal was Rafael Nadal's coach from 1990 to 2017. He is currently the coach of Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime.
