Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic did not save Bayern's title
The former general manager of Bayern Munich, Oliver Kahn and the sports director Hasan Salihamidzic were fired immediately after winning 11 consecutive championships in The Bundesliga, the German club announced.
Many were surprised that Khan was not among the guests of honor at the match in Cologne.
At first it was suspected that it was a question of health problems, but the German media "Bild" and "Kiker" immediately announced that they had been handed their resignations at the previous meeting. Now it has become official.
Current deputy director Jan Christian Dressen will succeed Khan, while Salihamidzic's successor is reportedly still being decided.
Earlier today, Bayern won the title with a 2:1 victory in Cologne, but above all thanks to Borussia Dortmund, who did not use the "match point" for the title and won only a point against Mainz (2:2).
