'You're an animal': Musician Marcus Mumford reveals he was sexually abused as a child
The frontman of the British band "Mumford & Sons", Marcus Mumford revealed he was sexually abused when he was six years old.
Mumford spoke about her experience of abuse in an interview with GQ magazine.

He said he "hit rock bottom" and that in 2019, after speaking with a psychologist, he felt physically ill while talking about what he experienced as a child.
"Like many adults, I'm just starting to learn how to come out about being sexually abused. My family didn't do that, nor did the church," said Marcus.

He kept quiet about the abuse for 30 years, but decided to bare his soul in the single "Cannibal".
"I still feel you and I hate it." You knew the kid couldn't choose that. You took my first "bite" and "ate me raw". You tore me with your teeth. You are an animal" is just one of the lyrics of the song.

The young musician did not reveal the name of the abuser. His mother found out what happened only three weeks ago, that is, after the publication of the mentioned song.
