A thirty-eight-year-old tattooed man who lived in Skopje ended up in custody on suspicion of having committed a crime - Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.
"On September 9, following a complaint about disturbed public order and peace, police officers came to the apartment on "Mile Pop Jordanov" street in Skopje, where the suspect was staying with his girlfriend. They established a violation due to an argument between the suspect and the girl's father, and she told the police that the suspect had some kind of illegal substances that he kept in their home. As the immediate owner of the apartment, she gave consent for officials to enter the home and conduct a search, during which they found 501 tablets of 3,4 methylene-dioxymethamphetamine, a stimulant of the central nervous system, packed in a large plastic bag," informs the Prosecutor's Office.
Circumstances that indicate a risk of escape, justified fear that he will hinder the investigation by influencing witnesses and experts and special circumstances that justify the fear that he will repeat the crime are cited as the reason for the requested detention measure. The judge accepted the proposal and ordered the suspect to be detained for 30 days.
