This afternoon, at the exit from Debar, on the road Debar - Struga, near the building of the former Electricity Distribution, a serious traffic accident occurred, in which seven people were injured, two of them seriously.

Two passenger motor vehicles were involved in the accident, one from Debar and the other from the village of Novak, municipality of Centar Zupa.

- After a report from a citizen, we immediately sent an ambulance to the scene. Seven people were injured, two of them seriously, while five were slightly injured. All are provided with adequate health care. One of the injured, a resident of Debar, who was seriously injured was transported to the Specialized Hospital for Orthopedics and Traumatology "St. Erasmus" in Ohrid, while a woman from Novak is under our observation in the surgical ward, but if necessary we will transport her in another appropriate institution, Baki Alili, director of the general hospital with extended activity in Debar, told MIA.
