The President of the state Stevo Pendarovski today had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, congratulating him on taking office and wishing him a successful term.

The latest developments in bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries in light of the recent visit of the Bulgarian Prime Minister to Skopje, as well as the upcoming activities in Sofia, were the topics discussed by Pendarovski and Radev.

- In that context, President Pendarovski welcomed the established dialogue between the two governments and stressed the readiness of the Republic of Northern Macedonia for its intensification in the coming period, said in a statement today from the Office of the Head of State Pendarovski.

In order to strengthen the dialogue between the two countries, it is underlined that the two presidents also discussed the possibility of an official visit of President Pendarovski to Sofia, as well as the intensification of communication at the highest level in the coming period.
