Taylor Swift ended her multi-faceted record-breaking Eras tour with a concert in Vancouver, Canada, cementing her status as an international music megastar.

Her world tour, the most profitable in history, began in March 2023 in Arizona, after which Swift visited fifty cities, from Buenos Aires to Tokyo and Singapore, holding a total of 149 concerts.

The amount of income from the sale of concert tickets has not been disclosed, but the specialist magazine Pollstar estimates it at more than two billion dollars, which is much more than the $939 million that Elton John earned as part of his last tour, after five years and 328 appearances. His tour was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Along with the earnings from ticket sales, the Eras tour made a significant economic contribution to all the cities where the concerts were held.

In Toronto, with six concerts, the local tourism office estimated that the presence of the American singer brought about 282 million Canadian dollars, or about 199 million US dollars, to Canada's largest economic city.

Taylor Swift's tour has generated interest that is rarely seen compared to other musicians. In Paris in May, two days before the concert, fans camped near the hall where she performed, hoping to be as close as possible to her.

At a concert in Edinburgh in June, fans shook the ground so much that the UK Earthquake Monitoring Agency (BGS) recorded seismic activity measured up to six kilometers around the stadium where Swift was performing.

The darker side of the tour is that in August three concerts in Vienna were canceled due to reports of a suicide Islamist attack.

In addition to fans, Taylor Swift's performances wowed critics, who praised her energy and stamina on stage during performances that lasted an average of three and a half hours.
