Sad news: actor Mitko Apostolovski died

The renowned Macedonian theater, film and television actor Mitko Apostolovski died at the age of 67.

The news of his death was relayed by his colleague Petar Gorko on the social network Facebook.

"Rest in peace, colleague, friend, wonderful man. I feel an immense loss. May your memory be eternal," wrote Gorko.

Mitko Apostolovski was born in Bitola on March 7, 1955. He graduated from the Department of Dramatic Actors at the Higher School of Music in Skopje. During his acting career, he worked in the National Theater in Bitola and in the National Theater in Kumanovo.

He has played numerous roles for which he will be remembered. Among them is the role of Ariton in the film "Golemata Voda" (2004) by Ivo Trajkov, then Dimitria in the film "Treto Poluvreme" (2012) by director Darko Mitrevski and Risto in "Do Balchak" by Stole Popov from 2014.
