Sad news: Actor Fred Ward, famous for the movie "Tremors", has died
The actor Fred Ward died at the age of 79. The death was confirmed by his publicist Ron Hoffman. He did not say what caused the deaths or where he died out of respect for Ward's family, writes "Variety".
Ward's last role was in the second season of HBO's "True Detective." He played a retired police officer, the father of Colin Farrell. He has also appeared in "ER", "Gray's Anatomy" and "United States of Tara". Ward her acted the main role in "Henry & June", where he was also a director.
