Srdjan Djokovic, the father of the first ATP tennis player, revealed that there is a possibility that Novak will not play in the Australian Open next year, as well as that he does not tolerate ultimatums and blackmail.

- Will that happen? Under such blackmail, in this way as it is conducted, Novak will probably not play in Melbourne. I would not do that, and Novak is my son and I leave it to you to conclude - said Srdjan Djokovic for the Serbian television Prva.

However, he noted that his son wants to play in the Australian Open, but also that does not know his decision.

As for leaving for Australia, it has been embarrassing in the last few weeks with the various announcements made by the authorities in Victoria, where Melbourne is located. They and various other people claimed the right to name the nine-time winner of the Australian Open for no reason. Whether Novak goes to Melbourne or not will depend on whether they want him in Melbourne or not. And we want Novak to play in Melbourne - says Srdjan Djokovic.
