The president of the Alliance for Albanians, Arben Taravari, said before the start of the leadership meeting that he expects the parties to agree on a date for the presidential and parliamentary elections with a broad consensus.

- The parties of the Government are synchronized and we are looking for a broad consensus for the elections that would be held at the end of April or the beginning of May. The abolition of the technical government should have been discussed one or two years ago - Taravari said and added that until now they have not discussed with the government partners in the elections to appear on a joint list.

According to Taravari, a SEC member is decided by the people in elections.

-Alliance for Albanians had eight MPs and a member of the SEC. Izet Majiti was then part of DUI and DUI has a member of SEC, and Bilal Kasami was with SDSM on the list and SDSM has a member in SEC. Afrim Gashi was with us in the coalition and our representative is the representative of Alternative in the Commission. I don't know if this issue will be opened, but this is our position - said the AA leader.

He repeated that the Alliance remains in the Government for the time being.

- We will not allow destabilization of the Government as long as there are chances for constitutional changes - said Taravari.
