The president of the Alliance for Albanians and Gostivar mayor, Arben Taravari, reacted to the statement of the former mayor of Gostivar and current member of the "fire group" in DUI. Nevzat Beita, who said Taravari won the elections in Gostivar with the help of Talat Xhaferi.

"Mr. Beita is a legend!" He is a story in himself. I would not comment on that, because I have never been in a coalition with anyone. But Beita is prejudiced, he makes conspiracies and he himself behaves as he criticizes others," Taravari said in interview for "Alsat".

He told Beita that he "never sat down to negotiate with Artan Grubi и Talat Xhaferi".

"However, I know that there were prominent members of the DUI, who precisely because of Beita, voted for me," Taravari said.
