Xhaferi did not respond to our phone calls and messages with a question - will he receive his monthly income from the Parliament, after his parliamentary mandate was verified three weeks ago, or will this be his last salary as technical prime minister, because in a week the election of the new government.

Talat Xhaferi, even though he is an MP and technically Prime Minister at the same time, he will receive one salary, and the Parliament and the Government should agree on which of the institutions will pay him. Neither the Parliament nor the Government are responsible from which institution Xhaferi will receive his salary.

Xhaferi did not respond to our phone calls and messages with a question - will he receive his monthly income from the Parliament, after his parliamentary mandate was verified three weeks ago, or will this be his last salary as technical prime minister, because in a week the election of the new government.

Xhaferi's salary is updated again, after yesterday at the Parliamentary Commission for Elections and Appointments the solution passed for the salaries of current MPs. MP Talat Xhaferi is also on the parliamentary salary list because, according to the explanation, his parliamentary mandate was verified at the first constitutive session of the Parliament on May 28. Neither the Parliament nor the Government has officially answered which institution will pay the MP and technically the Prime Minister. According to the information, the services in the Parliament and the Government agree on which institution will pay the salary.
According to the previous practice, the technical prime ministers who were elected as MPs received their salary from the government. As we have already reported, Xhaferi it is not the first case that he is technically prime minister and deputy at the same time. The duality of functions is not only characteristic of the position of prime minister of the technical government, because even before the "Przhin" government there were cases when political prime ministers were simultaneously elected as MPs and held the office of prime minister until the election of the new government. That was the case with Branko Crvenkovski, Vlado Buckkovski, but also with the technical premieres Emil Dimitriev and Oliver Spasovski.

No resignation is submitted in a government that does not have a mandate

Xhaferi said at the constituent session that he will not step down and will serve as prime minister. He added that a decision was made at a session of the Government that he should continue to perform his duties as Prime Minister until the future government composition is chosen. Until then, he will not participate in the work of the Assembly.

- Based on the Law on Prevention or Prevention of Corruption and for the purpose of preventing corruption and conflict of interests, because I cannot carry two duties, two functions at the same time, for this reason, until the election of the future Government, I will not participate in the work of the Assembly and in the decision-making in the Assembly, in order to fulfill the legal provisions of the Law on Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest - he said then Xhaferi.

A total of 36 ex-envoys will receive an allowance of around 2.000 euros for one year

The Commission for Elections and Appointments approved seven new decisions on appanagement of MPs from the previous parliamentary composition. With the previously approved 29 solutions, in total 36 ambassadors for one year they will receive appanage, i.e. salary in the amount of approx 2.000 euros.
The former MPs got a solution for appanage Arben Ziberi, Ljatife Shikovska, Enes Ibrahim, Snezhana Kalevska Vanchevska, Bastri Bajrami, Vjolca Ademi and Bedri Fazli. Only the deputy voted against approving appanages Borislav Krmov from the Left.

The Commission also accepted the request for severance pay upon retirement from the former MPs Kole Charakchiev, Stojan Milanov and Pancho Minov.
The commission also approved the request for salary realization after the termination of the member's position as a member of the Council of Public Prosecutors Arben Issaku.
The requests for appanage of three members of the Cabinet of the former president were not accepted Stevo Pendarovski, on the grounds that the Assembly did not appoint them to those positions.
The permanent working bodies of the Assembly were also staffed at the session of the Commission.

Gashi's vice-presidents "sworn" differently

The MPs elected them Antonio Milososki from VMRO-DPMNE, Jovan Mitreski from the opposition SDSM and Vesna Bendevska from the ruling ZNAM for vice-presidents of the Assembly. 69 deputies voted for Milososki, 82 deputies voted for Mitreski, and 70 for Bendevska.
Gashi read the oath that the vice-presidents will respect the Constitution and laws of the Republic of North Macedonia while performing their duties in the Macedonian language. Bendevska he pronounced the oath with RS Macedonia, while Mitrevski repeated it as President Gashi read it – Republic of Northern Macedonia.

The impression is that the officials, depending on which party they belong to and, above all, whether they accept the constitutional name, make variations of the solemn oath so as not to use the constitutional name of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Earlier, at the inauguration as the president of the state, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova in the oath, only Macedonia was mentioned, without the adjective North, but also without the Republic, which, in turn, caused stormy reactions both in the country and in Greece.
