Zoo sadness: Mexico's oldest panda dies on her 35th birthday

Shuan Shuan, the oldest panda in Mexico, died at the Chapultepec Zoo in Mexico City, exactly on his 35th birthday, reports People.

Authorities have not released the cause of the animal's death.

Shuang Shuang was born in 1987 and was one of the pandas that lived the longest outside of China – their natural habitat.
