The World Health Organization (WHO) Advisory Group today supported the use of a vaccine adapted to the Omicron strain as an additional dose.

"A special coronavirus vaccine, adapted for the omicron strain, can be used as a booster dose to boost immunity," the World Health Organization (WHO) said today.

Such a vaccine, according to available data, could benefit those who have already been fully vaccinated against covidium-19.

Vaccine manufacturers such as Moderna and Pfizer are developing a potential new generation ozone that will target not only the original strain but also the omicron strain.

Moderna said last week that a new version of its vaccine showed a better immune response against omicron than the original version. The European Medical Agency this week began testing the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines adapted to the omicron strain.

Vaccines can be used after their use has been approved in emergencies or when approved by the competent regulatory bodies.
