WHO: The number of infected in the last 24 hours has increased by more than 567.000

More than 567.000 people have been infected in the last 24 hours, according to the World Health Organization tonight, bringing the total to 136,29 million since the beginning of the pandemic.

So far, 136.291.128 people have been infected and 2.941.128 patients have died, while in 24 hours the number of infected people has jumped by 567.849 and 9.521 patients have died, TASS reports.

The most newly infected are in Southeast Asia (175.614), followed by Europe (159.163), then North and South America (153.573).

First in the number of covid cases are the United States (30.888.865), followed by India (13.689.433) and Brazil (13.482.023).
