The world premiere of the film "Kill the children first" will be held at the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival

The feature film "Kill the Children First", written and directed by Dimitar Orovchanec, is in the official "Open Air" program of the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival. The world premiere of the film will be held at the "Open Air" amphitheater on August 19, starting at 21:45.

It's a comical story about a teenage ballerina, her crazy boyfriend and his crazy best friend with a stolen police gun who get lost in the deepest labyrinths of the Skopje criminal underworld because of a cell phone containing a compromising video.

"Kill the children first" is a debut feature film by Dimitar Orovchanec, supported by the Macedonian Film Agency, and produced by "Tris Films" and "DMF Films". The producers of the film are Atanas Georgiev and Dejan Iliev.

The main roles are played by Mia Giro, Martin Gjorgoski and Stefan Spasov. Other roles are played by Aleksandar Gjordjievski, Stefan Vujisic, Marko Trajkovic, Adrian Aziri, Marina Pop Pankova, Leo Popovic, Atanas Tanovski, Marija Janchevska, Nenad Nacev, Aleksandar Mikic and others.

The director of photography is Vladimir Samoilovski, the production designer is Sašo Blaževski, the costumes are by Ilina Čolak, the editor is Sofia Samoilovska Jovanović, and the composers of the music are Darko Spasovski and Igor Vasilev-Novogradska.

The Sarajevo Film Festival is of "A" class and is one of the largest and most influential festivals in the wider region. This is its 30th edition. This year's laureates of the festival are actress Meg Ryan, Oscar winner, director, screenwriter and producer Alexander Payne and actor John Turturro.

The "Open Air" program, as well as the festival, will open the latest film by the Oscar winner Danis Tanović entitled "After the Summer". In addition to the films of Tanović and Orovčanec, the latest achievements of Quentin Dupier, Emmanuel Korkol, Rajko Grlic and others will be shown, Tris Films reports.
