Svetislav Pesic remains the head coach of the Serbian basketball team?!
The trophy selector Svetislav Pesic will remain coach of the Serbian national basketball team until the end of the European Championship in 2025.
As it conveys Meridian Sports, the new president of the Basketball Union of Serbia, Nebojsa Covic met with Pesic and "in principle agreed to cooperate until the end of the European Championship in 2025".
Pesic said in September that his contract has expired and that he will no longer be a coach and that the management of KSS should look for a new solution.
- Everything that reached the public, including representatives of the media, also reached me. The only thing that is true is that they are talking and finding opportunities because of my previous commitments. I really can't promise anything - Pesic spoke briefly.
