Super refreshing: Treat yourself to a delicious watermelon juice or cocktail

During the summer period, there is nothing better than a healthy and refreshing juice or cocktail. We bring you two recipes for drinks from watermelon which are easy to prepare and will refresh you on a hot summer day.

Watermelon juice recipe

Ingredients needed:
– 2 cups of sliced ​​watermelon
– juice and zest of half a lime
– 20 basil leaves
– some Himalayan salt
- 4 glasses of water

Preparation:
Layer all the ingredients in a glass bowl, starting with the watermelon, then add water. Refrigerate for 3 to 24 hours before serving. After blending and straining, this fine drink can be refrigerated for two days.

Watermelon cocktail

Mix some sparkling wine with watermelon juice, a squeeze of lime and fresh mint leaves. Serve in martini glasses and garnish with skewered berries. If you don't have sparkling wine, add vodka or another favorite alcoholic drink.
