The Judicial Council and the Council for Public Prosecutors to withdraw the members they proposed for the Academy's management board, the Anti-Corruption Agency requests

The Council of Public Prosecutors and the Judicial Council have appointed members to the Management Board of the Academy of Judges and Public Prosecutors from their own ranks, but this decision should be put into effect, the Anti-Corruption Commission concluded at today's session.

- The Judicial Council submitted to the Academy nominations for members of the Management Board of the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors - two members of the Judicial Council, and a judge from Shtip and a judge from Resen as deputies. The Council for Public Prosecutors submitted nominations for members of the Management Board of the Academy - two members from the Council for Public Prosecutors and proposed the public prosecutors from Shtip and Kumanovo as deputies. The SCSC states that an elected and appointed person cannot be a member of the management board or the supervisory board. The ban also applies to this case, which is not an exception, due to the illegal accumulation of two functions, it was said at the session of the Anticorruption Commission.

A decision was made by the SCCC to request from the judicial council and from the council for public prosecutors the enforcement of its decisions on appointing persons to the Board of the Academy of Judges and Public Prosecutors from its ranks.
