The court in The Hague has issued an arrest warrant for Putin, who is suspected of kidnapping Ukrainian children

The International Criminal Court in The Hague announced today that it has issued an arrest warrant for the President of Russia. Vladimir Putin indicted for war crimes for his possible involvement in the abduction of children from the occupied territories of Ukraine.

The court stated that Putin is suspected of the "war crime of illegal deportation of a population (children) and illegal resettlement of a population (children) from the occupied territories of Ukraine to Russia."

Due to similar accusations, the court based in The Hague issued an arrest warrant today Maria Alekseevna Lvova-Belova, Commissioner in the Office of the President of Russia for Children's Rights.

So far, the Kremlin has not published a comment on such a decision.
