A court in Germany has convicted three men who planned armed resistance during the pandemic
A court in Germany sentenced three men to prison terms for planning violent resistance against epidemiological measures during the corona virus pandemic.
The Koblenz District Court sentenced the main defendant to a total of two years and nine months in prison for establishing a criminal organization and forming an armed group.
The other two defendants received suspended sentences of one and three months, that is, one and a half years, with the obligation to pay a fine of 1.000 euros each.
According to the court, the three defendants together formed a group called Paladin, where the 39-year-old convict was the leader.
The group's goal was to defend itself against government measures during the pandemic, using weapons if necessary. According to the court's knowledge, the defendants made weapons with the help of 3D printers, and allegedly held paramilitary exercises.
