Suarez still hasn't "regretted" Barcelona: I hope Koeman will tell me why he kicked me out
After the expiration of the contract with Atlético Madrid, Luis Suarez decided this summer to change the environment and continue in the jersey of Nacional in his homeland.
Suarez has recently been linked with a return to Europe, but for now it's all speculation. Now in an interview with the Spanish "Marca" Suarez talked about some interesting topics, one of them is of course the situation in Barcelona.
Suarez had to leave Barcelona after Ronald Koeman labeled him "redundant" in the squad. According to the Uruguayan, the reason he was expelled from the team is not football.
"Out of humanity and respect, I would shake Koeman's hand if we met somewhere. However, I hope that this man will show greatness like when he was a Barcelona player and he will tell me the truth why he kicked me out of the club. I am sure and I know that football and financial reasons were not in question," the Uruguayan believes.
Barcelona have done a good transition period with the new management and Suarez believes that the club is going in the right direction.
"I think that the financial pillars that this leadership is putting in place will bring better days." Again I see fans who have confidence in the work of the management who is able to turn the situation around. "I don't know if Messi would have stayed if the situation was like this summer, that's something no one can say or guarantee," said Suarez.
A short answer to the question of who is the best coach he worked with.
"It's definitely Luis Enrique," replied the striker.
