"The Ministry of Education and Science has not fulfilled anything it promised, it does not respect the self-imposed deadlines, so we are announcing protests and blockades throughout Skopje. Not like the last time with one protest and one march, but a daily blockade of all boulevards in the capital", announced the student organization Student Resistance.

In a statement from the organization, it is said that the Ministry of Education and Culture does not respect the legal deadlines and promises: it is late with the payment of subsidized student meals, the students who have been accepted for a scholarship have not seen a single penny, they are also late with the payment of scholarships for students who continue the scholarship. and the promised reconstruction of the student dormitories has not started either.

"Negotiations for the new law on student meals are proceeding non-transparently and there is no official information regarding how the increased payment of an incredible 140 denars per day would take place. The latest information from the Ministry of Education and Culture is that by March 15, all funds will be paid and all accounts will be settled. We want to believe that this is so, although according to the experience so far, we cannot be optimistic and take their word for it," said the Student Resistance.
