Nikola Petreski from Struga, who works in a food delivery company, in the past month, three times a week distributes hot meals to people from socially vulnerable categories in the city. Thirty hungry people regularly come after the meal, which not only nourishes but also warms their hearts, writes SDK.mk.

"I work with food delivery, I work with two companies and there was a lot of food left that we threw away. About 6-7 kilos were thrown away and I came up with the idea to give it to someone who needs it. The rumor that you can eat a hot meal here is spreading fast. "At the beginning, a month ago, there were only two or three, and now there are about 30 people," said Petreski.

Cookers, rice with chicken, potato cookers and salads are the most common meals shared by Nikola. He says that there will always be a traditional Macedonian dish for the hungry in Struga.

"I love when people help those who need it. "There are many hungry people in Struga, but some do not come so as not to be seen taking food," he added.

Such an initiative, as Nikola says, causes various feelings in people, but an empty stomach makes them forget about pride.

"People are ashamed to ask for food. I had the idea to deliver it to houses where there is a need, but I think it would be offensive to them. That is why we provide information on social networks and the number of those who come for food is constantly growing, "said Petreski.

"People are hungry and helpless." says Nicholas, who announced 500 hot meals for the New Year holidays and called on companies and humanitarian citizens to join the initiative and help with food donation.
