Terrible accident in Bulgaria: Truck, bus and car collided, two men killed, baby seriously injured

Heavy traffic accident occurred this afternoon on the main road E-79 in Kresna gorge, two people died, reported the BGNES correspondent.

The accident happened around 15 pm in the area of ​​the gas station, a bus, a truck and a car collided, killing two men. Five people were injured, including two children, all in stable condition at the Blagoevgrad hospital.

Initially, six people were killed and as many injured. Four ambulances and three firefighters went to the scene of the accident, which occurred 300 meters after the Ottoman fountain in the direction of Kresnenski Han.

At this stage, it is clear that both victims are from a "Peugeot-boxer" minibus and it is about young men.

He was traveling from Kresna towards Simitli, according to unofficial information, after coming out of the sharp turn, the driver of the bus overtook him, hit the left side of a truck with Romanian registration. Immediately after the collision of the two trucks, the BMW collided with a family from Varna, who was returning from a vacation in Greece. The driver is unharmed, although the bus falls on him. The wife has a broken nose, a 2-3 year old child is unharmed, and a 4-month-old baby has a bulge on the forehead.

The 35-year-old driver of the Romanian truck also had a head injury. The E-15 road is closed in both directions from 79 pm, and the queues on both sides are large, reports BGNES.
