The exchange of goods between Kosovo and Serbia last year amounted to over half a billion dollars

The value of trade between Kosovo and Serbia during 2022 was 545 million dollars, Serbian politics announced citing Kosovo sources.

According to data from the Kosovo Statistical Office, goods worth 490,5 million dollars were sold from Serbia to Kosovo, while goods worth 54,5 million dollars were delivered from Kosovo to Serbia.

The Serbian media compares it to the exchange of goods with the countries of the "Open Balkans" initiative, stating that, in the same period, the value of the exchange with Albania amounted to 302,2 million dollars, and with Macedonia almost 1,6 billion dollars.

At the same time, the export to Macedonia was estimated at 1,02 billion dollars, and the import from Macedonia at 536,5 million dollars. The value of goods exported from Serbia to Albania was 216 million dollars, and the value of imported goods was 65,8 million dollars.

From the group of CEFTA countries, Serbia had the largest exchange, of 3,45 billion dollars, with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and then with Montenegro, 3,1 billion dollars.
