Sting left his wife and children for a family friend: Their love lasts more than 30 years, and they have sex for up to 7 hours
The British musician Sting today he celebrates his 73rd birthday, and his private life is just as interesting as his music career.
The singer has been happily married to actress Trudy Styler for more than 30 years, and they have four children – Brigitte Michael "Mickey", Jake, Elliott Paulina и Giacomo Luke.
Their love story was turbulent in the beginning as Sting fell in love with Trudy while he was still married to her best friend Francis Tomelty. That marriage lasted from 1976 to 1984 and they had two children.
Trudy lived nearby and met the love of her life through her best friend. They drank coffee together, went shopping and lived carefree next to each other. And although they had known each other for years, at one point a spark was ignited between Sting and Styler.
"None of us is proud of a situation that just happened. We loved each other, got married and had more children, that's our story," Trudy once said.
At the time Sting began his affair with Trudy, his wife had just given birth and was particularly vulnerable.
Just a year after their relationship went public in 1982, Trudy was already pregnant with their first child and he was off on a world tour with the band The Police. The same year their daughter was born, Sting officially divorced Frances.
Sting and Trudy got married after 10 years of dating, and the couple arrived at the celebration on horseback. The bride was dressed in a golden Versace dress.
Their long-term love, which lasts more than 30 years, is proof that they were not just a fleeting affair, but that they were destined.
"People ask me how your marriage has lasted so long, and I say, 'Well, it's a miracle, but we don't take it for granted.' Love is passion and all that, but it's very important to "If as a person and you want to be in their company, that's something else because you can have both, and I think that's very important to marry your best friend,” said he was once a musician.
Sting once surprised his fans by admitting that he had tantric sex with his wife.
"The idea of tantric sex is based on a spiritual act. I don't know a purer and better way of expressing love between two people than sharing that beautiful, as I would call it, sacred secret. I stand behind it. Not behind the seven hours, but behind the idea. "Seven hours of sex includes a movie and dinner," the singer explained on one occasion.
Trudy later went back to that interview with him and said she was "blaming" everything on Bob Geldof. Sting told him about it, and they were both completely drunk, talking nonsense.
"At one point a reporter asked them about their abilities in bed and Geldof said that Sting can make love for hours because he does yoga. And my husband asked them: 'Well, you haven't heard of tantric sex? It's actually caring for the partner, increasing intimacy with the partner,'' Trudy once said.
