After the representative activities this summer and the performance of the Macedonian volleyball players at the European Championship in Tampere, in the coming months our volleyball clubs will be in the forefront.

11 in men's and eight in women's competition will start competing tomorrow in 29 Macedonian volleyball championships. Strumica 47 & 72 and Yanta volley Kisela Voda will defend the throne, and several of their competitors, mainly from last year, will keep the ambition to win the title.

In the premier round for men, the current vice-champion University of Tetova will welcome the team of Stip UGD, and on Saturday the double program in the city under Shara will start with the match between Shkendija and Dibravolej. Tetovo teams are favorites not only because of last year's ranking, but according to the plans with which they will enter the 2021/22 season.

For women, the race is between last year's semifinalists Strumica Women and Rabotnicki Skopje, two quality teams to compete for the top and this season, and victory in the first match will mean more confidence before the introductory part in which will be played according to the principle "everyone with everyone, at home and away ", so there will be a total of 14 rounds. According to the competition rules, the first four will be the first four, which means that the battle for the semifinals will be decided after the autumn 14 rounds. There will be six matches in the Second Phase-1 and in the Second Phase-2. There will be nine teams in the lower quality rank in the women's competition, but they will not play this weekend, but will start the 2021/22 competition in another term.
