Grealish's record broken: Enzo Fernandez is the most expensive footballer in British football
Benfica and Chelsea in the last moments of the transfer window managed to complete the transfer of Enzo Fernandez.
The transfer of the best young footballer in the World Cup is 121 million euros. However, Benfica will not receive the entire amount from this transfer, 25% will go to River Plata, plus some other bonuses.
This means that River earned 50 million euros from Enzo in six months, while Benfica is left with a profit of 66 million euros. It should also be known that Chelsea will pay the amount in installments, it has been agreed that the first installment will amount to 45 million euros.
This is a record transfer in British football, the previous record was held Jack Grillish when Manchester City paid 117 million euros to Aston Villa.
