The Serbian helicopter "Super Puma" extinguished a fire near Ohrid with 248 tons of water

Members of the Helicopter Unit and the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of the Interior of Serbia, who were engaged in extinguishing the fire in North Macedonia, successfully completed the mission in overcoming the fiery element and returned to Serbia, reported the MIA correspondent from Belgrade.

- Since August 3, our brave team has been working side by side with colleagues from North Macedonia to help put out the fires in difficult conditions. In four days, our pilots performed 74 flights with the "Super Puma" helicopter and delivered 248 tons of water to the areas affected by the fire, the settlement of Kosel, north of Ohrid and Brežani on part of the territory of Ilinska Planina, as well as the villages in the central part of North Macedonia. -Papradishte and Oreshje, it is stated on the Instagram profile of the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.

As stated, the ministry is proud of the team that participated in this mission.
