Serbian driver Dusan Borkovic and his co-driver Igor Markovic had an accident during the rally race in Zagreb "Ina Delta Zagreb Open 2022" when they hit a tree at a speed of 97 kilometers per hour. Fortunately, both were not seriously injured.

Borkovi.'S car came out of the asphalt with the rear left wheel, awkwardly grabbed a dirt and gravel part of the road and hit a tree at a speed of exactly 97 kilometers per hour.

The ambulance team reacted immediately and both Borkovic and Markovic were taken to hospital for detailed examinations, during which it was concluded that there were no serious injuries in both.

- We are fine, accidents happen, that's how it is in races. We were a little embarrassed, but the most important thing is that we did not break anything. The path is difficult and very demanding. We managed to brake and pass without consequences, and we went to the hospital preventively, we made the necessary recordings, but although we were a little ashamed, the most important thing is that we did not break anything. "Thank you all for your support and we will be back on track quickly," Borkovic wrote on social media.
