Serbs pour the most expensive gasoline and diesel

The citizens of Serbia currently pour the most expensive fuel compared to other residents of the countries of the former SFRY, the H1 portal reported today.

The price of 95 octane gasoline at pumps in Serbia as of last Friday is 184 dinars, which according to the average exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia is 1,57 euros, while a liter of diesel costs 209 dinars, i.e. 1,78 euros, Beta reported.

Gasoline (95) is the cheapest in Montenegro – 1,45 euros, while the lowest price of diesel is currently in North Macedonia, where it costs 1,47 euros.

In Croatia, since August 9, a liter of 95 octane gasoline costs 1,50 euros, while the price of diesel is 1,61 euros. According to the regulation adopted by the Government of Croatia, the current way of calculating the highest prices will be applied in the next seven days and will be valid for all retail outlets.

At the pumps in Slovenia on August 2, gasoline 95 was cheaper by nine cents and costs 1534 euros, while the price of diesel was reduced to 1.676 euros per liter. Current fuel prices will be valid until August 16.

A liter of diesel in Montenegro costs 1,55 euros, while in North Macedonia, since August 9, the price of gasoline and diesel is equal - 1,47 euros.

"Fuel prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina are not limited and vary from pump to pump. In the canton of Sarajevo, the lowest price of gasoline is currently 1,51 euros per liter, and diesel is 1,62 euros. "The prices are even more favorable in Mostar, where a liter of 95 octane gasoline can be found at a price of 1,46 euros, and diesel fuel for 1,59 euros," states H1.
