Serbs will not pay tolls in Macedonia from tomorrow until August 15
Members of the Ministry of Interior at the Tabanovce border crossing will start handing out M-Smart toll cards to Serbian tourists who will transit along Corridor 10 on their way to Greece. The cards cover the tolls on the direction Tabanovce-Gevgelija and vice versa.
Out of the total planned 200 thousand cards, in the first quantity, the Public Enterprise for State Roads made 65.000 and handed them over to the Ministry of Interior.
"All Serbian citizens traveling by car through Macedonia along Corridor 10, where the tolls are equipped to use this toll system, will have the right to use the cards. One card per car will be issued at the entrance to the Tabanovce border crossing, which will be controlled by the Ministry of Interior and the Public Enterprise for State Roads. On each of the cards there is an amount of 760 denars as needed for a toll in both directions along the highway "Friendship", say from the Government.
- This is a gesture of gratitude to the Republic of Serbia and Serbian citizens who are always welcome to spend their vacation in Northern Macedonia, pointed out by the Government.
M-smart cards are valid only for Serbian citizens traveling along Corridor 10, but not those who go on vacation in Ohrid.
