Serbian Republic Property Directorate announced the previous announcement on the date for announcing the tender for preparation of planning documentation for seven border crossings, including the border crossing Miratovac-Lojane with Northern Macedonia, said the MIA correspondent from Belgrade.

The tender is planned to be announced on May 9, and according to the business portal Ekapija, it is about the border crossings Jasa Tomic, Kalugjerovo, Kelebija, Gjerdap 1, Jabuka, Ljuba and Miratovac-Lojane.

All the mentioned border crossings already exist, so it is assumed that reconstruction projects will be made for them, except for the border crossing Miratovac-Lojane, which should be fully built.

At the end of 2019, Serbia and Northern Macedonia signed an agreement on establishing a new joint border crossing Miratovac-Lojane. In February last year, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Serbia was doing everything to open the new Miratovac-Lojane border crossing, that there was considerable interest from Albanians living on the other side of the Serbian border to open it, "but that it is it is not a simple and easy thing. "

"Not for political reasons, but because you have to pay people who will work every day, these are our increased costs, and we want to reduce the costs, but do not worry and we will finish that work," Vucic said.
